Release Blitz & Review for Just One Moment by Stacey Lynn

Title: Just One Moment
Series: Just One #4 (Standalone)
Author: Stacey Lynn
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: January 26, 2016

Blurb

Ex-military man, Lynx Anders has one surefire weapon that destroys all of his pain and suffering--SEX.

Lots of raw, unattached, uninhibited sex.
Sure, it doesn't cure him of all that he's seen--all that he's done in combat, but it helps--for the time being.

But when he has one night of unadulterated, mind-blowing passion with Sarah Linscum, Lynx realizes that one night is not enough--will never be enough.

Her upbeat and bubbly exterior broke through his tough-guy armor, and he wants more. Bound and determined to uncover why Sarah's eyes mirror his own in pain and despair, Lynx sets out to make them shine as bright as her.

As they both know, it takes just one moment to change everything.

Together, can they heal from the demons that chase them in their dreams and find a way to not only heal…but love?

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

3.5 Stars to Stacey Lynn’s Just One Moment.

This is a story of pain, suffering, forgiveness, and ultimately love. The journey the main characters go on in this story is intense. Both Sarah and Lynx carry heavy weights on their shoulders, both clearly suffer from PTSD but try to keep it under wraps. Their relationship begins as a one-night stand because both are afraid to let anyone too close because they are under the belief that they will only bring pain to others. It takes sometime but the reader will find out the root of their issues.

I loved Lynx’s character, he was so steadfast against falling for anyone and yet when he meets Sarah even though he is scared he can’t keep himself away and he makes it his mission to make her fall for him.

I have mixed feelings about Sarah. She messed up big time when she was younger and it really impacted her life leaving lasting effects on her. I think that she didn’t have enough punishment for her actions and others were able to forgive her too easily but yet at the same time I think now that it is years later she beats up on herself way too much throughout the book but I guess that’s all in the grieving process and everyone grieves differently.

I enjoyed the ending of this book because I feel that Lynx and Sarah were deserving of one another. They complemented one another well and they were able to heal one another’s demons.

This book carries a heavy load of emotions with it. It’s a quick read but it’s not necessarily an easy one. The storyline is original and it’s well written but if you are someone who enjoys light fluffy romances this may not be the book for you.
