Flawed Heart is an incredible second chance love story. This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster, there were times when it completely gutted me and then there times where I felt happy and in awe of the love shared between Max and Ana. Part of the author’s dedication said, “To second chances and the epic romances that sweep us off our feet”, and I feel like this a spot on summary of her own book, an epic romance. I absolutely loved Flawed Heart. There is not one of us who are perfect; we all make mistakes whatever they may be. Max and Anna were two perfectly imperfect people, they both messed up in major ways thinking they were doing the right thing at the time and it cost them their love. I really enjoyed reading the flashback chapters because we were given a great look into how this epic love story began. Love isn’t always cookie cutter, it can be messy and it can be soul crushing and yet it can endure and flourish. I’m not going to give any spoilers, that’s not my thing, this book had a great plot, storyline, main and secondary characters. I got so sucked into this story that I read it in one sitting, I was addicted! I love how the story ended where it began for the couple (the location Max took her to). I like to reflect after I read and this just made me think about never losing hope and always being willing to fight for love. If I could I would give this book 5++++++ stars!

Author Bio

I always knew I wanted to do something creative. After going through the standard childhood career changes of ballerina, doctor, and a rather embarrassing period of boy band charged rockstar dreams I found writing (which was equally embarrassing). Never really believing I could actually make something of my stories, I left for college, got married to my best friend and had a couple of kids before taking up the proverbial pen again.

After several false starts, I finally finished a full manuscript, then another and another. I loved each one like my own children and wanted to keep them safe from the world, but I knew my stories would never reach anyone hidden away on my computer hard drive so I began cautiously sending them out and one landed a home with Entranced Publishing.

I live in Ohio with my husband and two young boys. No pets, despite the kids' constant begging and various versions of 'big ol' puppy dog eyes'.

Elizabeth Lynx is not a robot, that’s for sure. At least she says she’s not. She is also not a space alien. How do I know this, because she was born in Baltimore Maryland in the 1970’s when no one wanted to be in Baltimore Maryland so why would her parents say that if it weren't true. Of course she has had her suspicions growing up and is still in a continual search for evidence that backs up her space age theories.

To bide her time she writes about ‘normal’ people and their sexy romantic lives. Her husband chooses to put up with her theories and paranoid musings. Her two little boys help her see that perhaps she isn't an alien but more of a climbing rock. This theory is new, so she needs more time to develop it further.

Rules of Payne was definitely a hot yet laugh out loud read! I am telling you that if you want to read a book that will make you not only hot and bothered but will have you laughing out loud then this is the book for you! I found this book to be quite refreshing. The banter between the characters is lighthearted and amusing. I couldn’t believe some of the compromising situations Morgana and Henrik found themselves in. I look forward to the continuation of this story, I want to know what will happen now that their story is out in the open. 4 stars!!!!

Author Bio

For as long as I can remember, I've loved to write, poetry, short stories just about anything. My English teachers in school kept telling me I should write and it took me a lot of years to finally get around to it. 

I spent too long worrying about failing as a writer before I realized that living with the regret of never trying was worse.

I live in a sleepy country town in Tasmania, Australia with my partner and our three children, who aren't so little anymore, plus a whole assortment of animals. 

Natasha's Awakening is my first book but I have no intention of stopping now and will continue to live my dream of being a published author. I have just published Taming Eric which is his POV to Natasha's Awakening. 

My interests are writing of course, reading, watching movies and hanging out at home with my family, our six cats and one dog.
