Fight.
It’s an action some encourage and others dissuade. Since the day I was born, fighting has been instilled into my mind. Regardless of your opinion, it’s something we all do. At some point in time, consciously or subconsciously—either emotionally, physically, or spiritually—we struggle. Many will strive to withstand their battles, but only those who were born to fight will overcome them.
A true fighter lacks weakness. They abstain from carelessness and refrain from trusting their opponents, but most importantly, they never accept defeat.
I am a true born fighter. Each second of every day, I fight. Rip the ones I love most away from me, I kill. If I’ve learned anything from this life, it’s to always expect the unexpected. As long as my heart continues to beat, and no matter the costs, I will be victorious.

There is something that has to be said for the raw grittiness of emotion weaved into this story. I was blown away by the author’s telling of Blake and London’s story, this was more than just your typical cookie cutter romance, it is a romance but it is also a journey of self-discovery and of survival. London was a great lead character; she is in my eyes a badass chick, a warrior. I loved Blake pretty hard too, I didn’t expect to fall for Blake as much as I did because going in I thought that he was just going to be another playboy douche bag but he was the farthest thing from it, he devoted himself to London, he cherished her and his actions through out this book really captured my heart. I am a reader, I love to read and I really enjoyed reading a book where the main character is an author. I thought we were presented with great insight into the mind of an author, how important it is to have interaction with fans, how nerve-racking it can be to put yourself out there and all of the excitement behind publishing your own book. Blake and London’s story wasn’t a fairy tale; it was the furthest thing from one. Love can hurt, it can be scary, it can leave you devastated but it can also fill your heart up with so much joy it can set you free. I completely lost myself in London and Blake’s world. London had a bad experience before meeting Blake and it causes her to tip toe around him at first but he gave her the time to come around and they ended up having this explosive connection. When Blake and London hook up it is H-O-T, hot! London ends up keeping something from Blake and it ends up being pretty huge and we almost see Blake lose London before she has the chance to tell him the truth. My emotions really went through the ringer while reading this. I felt that I wanted to knock some sense into certain characters and I wanted to beat the crap out of others because they made me so angry, specifically Axel and you’ll find out why when you read this. We got to see a lot of the same characters from Behind the Lens, which was great because it’s always good to see how the other characters are progressing. The ending was much deserved and gave the story the pretty little bow on top that I felt it needed. I was happy seeing how things turned out. I loved this book and highly recommend it; I could not pull myself away. There is a bit of a cliffhanger ending but not between the main couple so I harbor no anger towards the author lol it is the perfect kind of cliffy..I am hooked and have to know exactly what McKinley’s story is.
